Venturers

As a Venturer Scout, you’ll have the space to have fun learning and developing your own character at your own pace. You’ll have a supportive environment for you to develop your ideals, and can discuss moral and social issues including religion, spirituality, gender and relationships.

Venturer Scouts also gives you the opportunity to make new friends and share adventures with them, while picking up life skills along the way. You may find yourself enjoying interstate, national and even international travel experiences, exploring wilderness Australia, camping above the snowline or diving on coral reefs. You could be abseiling into a limestone cave or climbing a sheer rock face. There are even opportunities to learn how to fly a plane! It’s all about healthy risk-taking and specialising in areas you’re passionate about.

Whatever your challenge, there will be trained and highly experienced adults to guide you through the experience, to teach you the necessary skills and safety techniques. You can even gain accredited skills yourself, which are recognised across Australia!
